Ingredients
  

  • 3 Very ripe bananas, mashed
  • Cup melted butter
  • ¾ Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Large egg, beaten
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ Cup chocolate chips or walnuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until mostly smooth.

  5. Add baking soda and salt, stir well.
  6. Fold in flour gently until just combined (don't overmix).
