Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp culinary-grade matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water (around 175°F)
  • 1 cup cold oat milk (or milk of choice)
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: ½ tbsp simple syrup for matcha layer

Equipment

  • Blender or small food processor
  • Tall 16 oz glass
  • Small bowl
  • Milk frother
  • Measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. Blend strawberries, sugar, and water until smooth. Pour into tall glass.
  2. Fill glass with ice.
  3. Whisk matcha powder with hot water until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir cold oat milk into matcha mixture.
  5. Pour matcha milk slowly over the back of a spoon to layer it over the strawberry base.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
